In an unprecedented move, Royal Caribbean International is building the largest, most dazzling cruise ship in the world. OASIS OF THE SEAS is scheduled to set sail in the fourth quarter of 2009!!! It will include some of the most unbelievable features ever conceived for a cruise ship. The ship itself will be a vacation destination, with enough activities and fun to fill an entire week without ever leaving the ship. Some suites will even be 2 stories with sleeping lofts and 20 foot floor to ceiling panoramic views and balcony. Imagination and Innovation has no boundaries!!! It will even feature a living outdoor greenspace named CENTRAL PARK and a BOARDWALK with activities including, a vintage carousel, fortune tellers, water fountain theatre, and over head zip line, just to name a few. One other amazing feature will be the Rising Tides Bar, that is actually an open elevated bar that slowly rises and falls 3 stories out of a pool of waterfalls, all while guests sip cocktails and socialize. The Oasis is scheduled for its home at Port Everglades in Ft. Lauderdale, with a 7 day itinerary to the Virgin Islands and Bahamas.
